How can I make you meet me

At the time when I am most beautiful

For this

I have prayed to the Buddha for five hundred years

To let us have a chance to meet in this life

The Buddha then turned me into a tree

Growing by the path you must take

In the sunlight

I carefully bloomed my own flowers

Waiting for your arrival

When you come close

Please be sure to

Look closely at the flower

It is so fragile

Yet so beautiful

Don't ask where I came from

Or where I will go

Just know that

On this road

I once stopped for you
